Ralphie (dog) and Ralphina (cat) represent all the dogs and cats that fight to survive overseas, finding that their
only glimpse of hope is the friendship they form with U.S. soldiers. The dog/cat and soldier establish a bond forged by war
and chaos. It is a true friendship through which they each find hope, love and comfort. But when it is time for the soldier
to return the loyal furry friend must stay behind. With your help, these dogs and cats can be brought to the U.S. to be reunited
